applied for uni.



i remember a time when i was so hopeless that i didn't even consider the two most prestigious career path there were. i didn't consider them partly because i was determined not to be so typical in life, to try and enter the two most over-hyped courses.


then came L and together with all the aspirations of probably the most difficult course to enter. studied hard just to prove a point. being young and arrogant i boasted how i would definitely enter medicine.

G came along and suddenly, there isn't any worries in life. screw medicine. life was free of pressure and there was only simple joy and delights.

but it also brought shit into existence. so shit happens, and i learnt a painful lesson.

and also came crashing down to earth with olevel results.



teaches one not to aim unrealistically high and more importantly, not to be overconfident.


as jc life starts and progresses, one starts to think about options in life. but for me, i took it as i go along. i was deflated and had run out of steam. no more motivation.

until you came along.


you cheered me up, filled me up with steam. you have the uncanny ability to laugh at the smallest things, and be upset over the tiniest of matters. with you i also realized that not everything in life will go as planned, and when they don't, it could be a blessing.


throughout this while, an option in law became more and more attractive. for some reason the ability to argue and the command in english seemed to point that way.


4th March came along and poof! it became koko krunch!


haha sorry, just had the urge to do that.


4th March came along and suddenly both courses seemed viable. a far cry as compared to 6 years back when a wide eyed kid was crossing the road near Yio Chu Kang MRT station.



so i made my decision.
