alhamdullilah.

the title of this post means "May Allah be with you" in Arabic. bet some of you had forgotten i am one, with all my escapades in yoshinoya.. hmm.



anyway. this video touched me in so many ways. he was given life by God, and had his life taken away by people so cruel and so heartless they might be the devil's incarnate. no one, no one, should be treated like this. he, like any other babies, had a bright future ahead. but sadly he was born into the wrong family. the part when the stepfather said "i'll settle this" sounds ominously similar to the Final Solution dealt to millions of Jews in Austwitz in Nazi Germany. the idea behind it is the same.

when you thought your life was bad.


all the ignorant people out there. you see them everyday, especially in Singapore. people complaining about their work hours, about how their parents were restricting their freedom. some sulk when they cannot get the materialistic things they desire, and some just do not have the common sense to think whats right and whats wrong. and then they start saying "FML". whats there for fuck your life about? i say, be satisfied with what you have. be satisfied with what we all have. the moment we wake up every single morning we should start saying "Thank God im still alive."

this baby, doesnt know when will be his last day. he doesnt know where his pain is coming from. he doesnt even know his own existence. the moment he was born, he experienced pain that neither of us will ever experience. broken spine? fingers without nails? bites to the ear? swallowing the broken tooth punched by someone? for the Love of God he is barely 1 year old.


it is better he went to heaven, where God will heal his suffering. whichever God we believe in, be it Allah or Jesus or Jehovah or even Budhha, these religions taught us to respect life, uphold morals, and have the basic sense of right and wrong. common hooligans, heartless, ruthless, cruel people like this stepfather. they will definitely burn in hell.


take heed, people. be nicer to the people around you, and start appreciating things that you dont usually do. everything that happens to you, happens for a reason. accept it, and move on with life. every once in awhile, think about baby peter, and you'll realise, actually you didnt have a tough life afterall.
