band was usual. played the pieces.
the highlight of today is the AUDITIONS. at least i did not screw up. played danse properly. the lecture hall also had good acoustics. but thing was, they do not need saxophone.
afternoon was skit practice. turns out that because i ponned the previous 2 practices, now i have no role. so my role is the props man. LOL. which jason from vs conveniently now calls me.
anyway i just helped out the making of props. which was kinda fun because all of us talked cock in the end. and we slacked. hahaha.
saw wenzheng playing, so i joined him. soon andrew and geraint joined us. we sort of formed a quartet and we played some jazz songs from this totally imba book for all four saxes. so there's like 1 alto, 1st & 2nd tenor, and 1 bari. it was damn nice. then we noticed Dr Goh looking at us. HMM. so we just played a fool with the songs, and geraint asked me ad lib one part. so i just whack the notes. which was fun. soon everyone was whacking notes and it was damn hilarious.
once we grew tired of it, we went back band room. and all of a sudden it was empty. most of the seniors suddenly disappeared. so the sec4s took our bags, put it in the canteen, and we started our gambling den.
we played bridge HAHAHA. there were 2 "gambling dens". claire and some tkgs girls played with one maris stella guy while i played with suzanna, jason and geraint. there was one match when me and jason was totally imba. i have like, A, Q, 10, 8, 7, 3 of spades while he have K, J, 9, 6, 5, 4 of spades. we won with the bid being 4 spades. while playing it turns out that suzanna also live in woodlands. LOL. so after the bridge frenzy we bus-ed home together.
she plays the string bass. and she is also of mixed descent la. chinese father malay mother. she lives near me too. LOL. it'll be like damn cool if next year we go to school together. from woodlands to east coast LOL. damn jialat.
i just..
lols sorry youqin for not being able to go cj tune in!
