today is a day to remember x)
wonderful and fulfilling performance! =D








woke up this morning feeling very VERY nervous.
practised abit, then washed up, changed to casual clothes, took my stuff and went to yishun to wait for ms jasminyanti.
after that we went to esplanade. i lugged the bass guitar, amp and my other stuff all the way to backstage.


AND IT WAS FREAKING COOL. for those that went to the recce of republic poly, lets just say esplanade's backstage/dressing rooms are 5 times bigger, wider, more spacious, than republic poly's. (like duh, its the esplanade)
but anyway, ya.
i set everything up on stage, tested the sound, turned a few knobs, and i went to change to my formal clothes. (black pants, black shirt, black shoe)
philwinds gave me a maroon tie too. it looked quite nice
and then rehearsal..
played everything perfectly. hahaha felt happy with myself, then during lunch ate at macs


then came.. SHOWTIME.
was feeling VERY nervous.
mr tan came and told me to relax.
and then out we go to the stage..

AND IT WAS FANTASTIC.
i didnt make a single mistake!
blended with the tuba, and i have a tiny little solo with the flutes and oboe in galaxy 999, which went wonderfully.
then had a hell of a time working with mr dennis sim, the drummer (haha jacob he's 10 times better than you, his molar stroke is nicer) in music of my heart and coral sea.
haha then i waited for the concert to finish
a very nice finale, pirates of the carribean.

after that shook hands and made aquaintances with mr leonard tan [vjc conductor =DD], mr andy sim [woodgrove sec conductor], mr adrian cheong, mr daniel kiang, and many many more!


waited for 45mins for ms jasminyanti to come. hahaha. then went walkwalk




reached home at 9.30pm. ahaha.



had a wonderful experience with philwinds. furthermore, mr tan wants me eugene and jacob to go audition for philyouths! =DD
but that'll come after o' level la. hahaa.
