i was expecting something harder.
but oral was okay.
so was listening compre.
hehe.

then had blitz.
really fun time there.
went to each terrace house and begged them to buy tickets.
was really funny, and one of them treated us to drinks!
=DD
sold 70 dollars in total. overall i sold 100 bucks.
2 booklets gone
;D

then went jacob's house to change and we went to woodlands to meet palit there.
after that we walked to republic poly for my brother's first ever concert.
the much talked-about WOODGROVE SYMPHONIC BAND.

we had to wait for 1 hour plus cau band was the last item.
the first item was their chinese orchestra anyway.
and i gta say this..

THE SIZE OF PHSCO IS THE SIZE OF WGSCO'S FIRST 2 ROWS.
hahahaha that was how big wgsco was.
and boy, were they good.
they really wowed the three of us.
excellent dynamics, and there were like 10 double basses LOL

next was choir.
it was.. decent
hahahah
okay la

then some performances by a rock band -.-
not really good..

then dancing, blahblah..

intermission..

BAND!!
hahah finally.
it is obvious that all the focus is on band la.
apparently wgssb was the most popular band in the school.
and when they play, it really was *wow*
3/4 to gold band, jacob was commenting.
their mission impossible is very nice
so was sweet memories and the four trombone solos
lastly was spanish fever.
damn good.

they play veryvery well as a group
but i think they lack individual talent. thats the missing factor.
if they had very good people in there, their band would be gold no problem.

and their finale, a perfect example on a choir-band collaboration.
they sang when you believe from prince of egypt.
very nicely done.

it was a very good performance by woodgrove.
should have gone there..
hahaha

unsure.

(:
